hello,
we are using stand alone (not member of domain) iag 2007 box as a vpn solution.
It is configured (in Admin -> Authentication and user/group servers) to use domain account to authenticate remote (smart card) users.

Is it possible to enable file sharing over IAG (from SMB file share inside the network) without adding it to the domain nor making it Domain Controller itself and configure domain trust between iag and internal domain.

Nope.

In order to allow remote access to file servers, IAG must be either a member of the domain to which the file servers belong or a member of a domain which has a trust relationship with the file server domain.
